We started our family of Royal Border Collies with Prince Jasper. A short time later, we added to the family: Princess Jasmine, Princess Ruby, Prince Rusty, Princess Ginger and Princess Sheba.

How Do You Care for Border Collies?

We are proud to say that we treat these Royal Border Collies like family. We have a nice, large kennel for them to run and play in together. Proper fitting dog collars are important so that they do not choke the dogs. When walking them on a dog leash, a harness should be used to prevent choking. They have several different dog toys they like to play with. We supply them with a high protein diet along with healthy treats. Some human food for dogs is okay, but certain human food can harm dogs. After the puppies are weaned, they are fed a special puppy food to keep them healthy. When it is time for them to eat, our royal canines obediently go into their individual homes in the dog kennel. We continually watch to make sure that all of the royal family has clean fresh water to drink.

How do you care for a Pregnant Border Collie?

When one of our female Border Collies is pregnant, we pamper them with special attention. These adorable mothers-to-be receive extra special food and treats. When delivery time arrives, we are guided by professional veterinarian advise. Medical equipment is on hand just in case there are any complications during the puppy delivery.

Since Border Collies are so healthy and intelligent, we find that it would be rare for them to have any trouble during pregnancy and afterward. In fact, our Border Collie females have never had any trouble delivering their puppies. Of course, they have their God-given instincts to know exactly what to do at the right time.

Mom the Pampered Pooch

When mom is taking a break from caring for her new pups, we try to give her special attention. Sometimes we sit in the recliner with the hardworking mother petting and cuddling her.

Puppy Feeding and Training

Since the Border Collie pups need milk from mom on a regular basis, we watch the time that she is away from them. If it seems like she may be waiting too long to feed her babies, we tell her it is time to feed her puppies again. Our Border Collie mom obediently walks over and begins to feed her babies like we tell her to. There has not really been any problem with the baby puppies getting fed properly. By instinct, mother dogs know how to care for their pups. She cleans up after them and makes sure that they are going potty properly. As soon as the puppies can walk, we put a puppy pad down to begin their potty training.

Weight Watchers

As the new born babies grow, we weigh them daily with a Mom Med baby scale to make sure that they are gaining weight properly. If a few seem a little behind in weight, we make sure that they get toward the back of mom so that they receive the richer milk.

Royal Puppies for Adoption

From time to time, we have new puppies that are added to the royal family. Many of these puppies are available for a reasonable adoption fee to good homes. We are keeping the adoption fee low so that anyone who wants one of these wonderful pets can afford to do so.

Our Current Adoption Fees:

Black & White Male: $350

Black & White Female: $400

Red & White Male: $450

Red & White Female: $500

The average cost of purebred Border Collie dogs for sale is often $700 or more. Since we are a Border Collie breeder, we provide a competitive pet adoption service. An animal adoption organization needs to charge a high price because of high personal and maintenance cost. We are proud to be a high quality dog breeder that keeps our adoption fee low.

In our effort to help hard working people, a minimum adoption fee of $350 is all that needs to be paid in order to take one of these precious Royal Border Collies home. If you desire, we will hold the puppy of your choice for a non-refundable down payment, which will go towards the total adoption fee. This will ensure that someone else does not adopt the puppy that you want. The remainder of the adoption fee will be due at the time you pick up your new puppy.

We work hard to use a variety of attractive, unique, intelligent trainable Border Collies for breeding. As a result, we get a variety of colors, hair length, and individual personalities in our puppies for adoption.

Because of high demand, we may run out of puppies to adopt. But, we currently have two male and four female adult Border Collies for breeding. At the appropriate time, we allow them to breed. If you happen to want to adopt a puppy when we are out, you can place an order for a future puppy litter. You can reserve your future puppy for adoption with a small deposit. At the time we have a new litter, those who put down a deposit will get first choice based on the time of their deposit. We take great care to make sure that everyone has a happy experience with us and our Border Collies for adoption.
